This Song/Poem had been on my mind alot lately on and off.  I originally wrote it about several months ago for my church.  It was sung and well recieved by the congregation.

Here it is:

(Verse 1)
Down the mountain, I did fall!

In the vallley, I did crawl.

In fear, I did call,

"Redeemer, redeem me

I'm searching for your mercy Lord

I'm searching for the Mercy Maker."

(Chorus)

Justifiable, Judge justly judging me

Judging by your words, I am just a sinful, sinner.

Just a criminal guilty in every way

Evil in every way

Now, I'm searching for your mercy Lord

Searching for your mercy,

I'm searching for the Mercy Maker

(Verse 2)

In the valley, I did know

So, up the mountain I did go

Searching for your mercy Lord

In despair I did call,

"Redeemer, redeem me

Justifiable are your ways

And I'm guilty in every way"

Up the mountain, I did climb.

In my heart was this ryme

In my words I did cry,

"Redeemer, redeem me"

In the shadows,

I felt the death that was made for me

Down these roads and at the top

In repentance, I saw the sentence

Of the cross.

Yet, on this cross you did toss

My sin you bore for me

"Redeemer, redeem me"
